INNOVATE EDUCATE ADVOCATE

I have been part of the Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Springs community for over 3 years, working tirelessly to make it a better place.

I have been on the Brookhaven Elementary School Community Council (SCC) for 3 years where I was the chair for 2 years and approved plans that gave the school library over $20k to build up the catalog. The SCC does not get much glory, but our meetings are published on the school website and the approved School LAND Trust budget is published on a public site for all to see how each school is spending those funds. 

I have been on the Eagle Mountain City Library Advisory Board as the Vice Chair for the past year. I have advocated for the library to bring awareness to the community about the services and programs offered by our city library. I have also reviewed and given feedback on library policy updates and changes. There is so much work that happens in the background to keep our public services safe and organized. I appreciate the opportunity to be involved.

I have also been a volunteer recreational soccer coach for 3 years where I have been involved with the youth in our community. I get to interact with parents and organize a team to help them learn and build up a culture of teamwork and compassion.
